The classic smokey eye never goes out of style and suits everyone. Then, sweep the brush in soft, broad strokes across your lid at the places where the different shades of eyeshadows meet. It also makes my eyeshadow last longer, and it doesn't smudge as much. Clean your eyeshadow brush with makeup brush cleaner, face wash, or shampoo and water.

Define your lower lashline with an angular brush using both green and black eyeshadow. Line your lower waterline and lashline with a black eyeliner pencil. Take another very small, soft brush and gently blend the two eyeshadow liner colors together under your lashline.

Brighten the eye by applying the lighter shell eyeshadow all over the eyelid. What is great about this look is that you can amplify it by contouring with the proper eyeliner shades to give depth and create a more intense look for the evening. A few coats of mascara, either black or dark brown, perfectly finish off the look.

Using a brown eyeshadow, work into the crease of your eye for a harsh contrast. Step 3: Blend a neutral, medium brown eyeshadow with a matte effect in the crease of your eyes (Fawn from ABH). The medium browns allow great variety with makeup, as all the colors mentioned above can be worn without hesitation.

Line your lashes with black pencil and you're done. Apply the nude eyeshadow on your upper eyelid, from the center to the inner corners. Curl your lashes and apply mascara, wiggling at the base for a subtle intensity. Apply black eyeliner on your upper lashline to define.

Using a black liquid eyeliner, do a simple winged line on your upper lashline. Fill in the remaining area with a rose-gold eyeshadow. Now take your eyeshadow brush and dip it into your most beloved shade of blush. Work from that into a sexy smokey eyes with darker tones.

Apply the deep brown eyeshadow towards the outer corner of your eye and in the crease area. Now cover the gold shadow with a burgundy eye shadow going up above the crease and into the corner of the eye, creating a subtle cat-eye shape. Take a black kajal eye pencil and trace a thick line all along the upper lash line.
